Also, I am wondering what stock boost levels are with the performance package veloster n and how much boost is increased with the JB4 maps. So who's to say it's some other issue or the cold winter weather. Nothing seems to be causing issues, until I started getting engine rpm hesitations when flooring it. I ran map 3 for a month or two. Jul 12, 2020 · Boost is indexed off gas pedal input so it will only make more boost when you floor it. Map3 may require higher octane than 93. The car was noticeably faster than map 2 though.
