Audi door handle light not working. Oct 9, 2023 · Hello everyone. Just carefully remove that little black square piece where the light is located and then trace the wire from it back to where it is connected so that you know which one of the connections goes to the light. What could it be? One of them freaks out a bit when you slowly pull the handle upp. Originally, they are 2835 chips, though that is a bit limiting. May 18, 2020 · You will see the light once you get the handle out of the door. Just had a look on YouTube for other Audi’s and looks a bit tricky to remove! I have keyless access too so a bit reluctant to undertake anything too complex. I measured how much electricity is coming from the plug to the led and it did show something but very little and i do not remember exactly. I found that it was water damaged. I just pulled the handle to expose the linkage, then liberally applied the white grease spray and worked it in by repeatedly pulling the handle. anyone have to fix this and know what part to replace or how complicated it is? I want to upgrade them anyway, due to them not being very bright. One of them was not working, so I decided to open up and investigate. I am pretty sure I know the answer to this question already, but I thought to ask the forum before I assume. It’s the one integrated into the actual outside handle itself.
